ComedySportz is improv comedy played as a sport. Two teams of Players compete in a series of improv games, earning points for audience laughter and reactions — while the Referee keeps the match running, calls fouls on anything that goes too far, and makes sure everyone on stage and in the seats is having a great time.

The match is divided into rounds, each one a different game with different rules. Some rounds go head-to-head, with both teams playing off the same scene. Others let a team take their shot solo. No two matches are ever alike — because no two audiences are alike.

Every match runs on your suggestions. You pick the scenes. You pick the winners. You're part of the show.

ComedySportz has been played this way since 1984. The format is the same everywhere it's performed: two teams, a Referee, a scoreboard, and a room full of Loyal Fans ready to be the loudest judges in the building. Seattle has its own team, its own Players, and its own arena — right here in Fremont.
